Organization

Trina Solar has established and implemented a three-level compliance management system organizational structure: governance - management - execution and supervision . The governance level is the Strategic Executive Committee, which is responsible for making decisions on compliance strategies, policies and medium- and long-term goals; the management level is the Governance Risk Compliance Committee (GRC) , which manages and coordinates the construction of the compliance management system. Under the leadership of the GRC , business departments, risk control, legal affairs , and audit and supervision departments constitute the three lines of defense for compliance management, each performing their duties, coordinating and cooperating, and effectively participating to form a joint force for compliance management.

Policy

Trina Solar has established a clearly structured compliance system. The first level is the guidelines, namely the "Compliance Management System" and "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics" applicable to all employees, which put forward 18 compliance management requirements from the aspects of enterprise development, employee development, protection of company assets and interests, business partner relations, fulfillment of social responsibilities, compliance consultation and reporting. The second level is the special compliance management , which is applicable to all employees, including anti-corruption, trade control, personal privacy protection, anti-monopoly and other systems. The third level is the guidance, which provides guidance and methods for the implementation and operation of each special compliance management system. The fourth level is the operation, and each business unit shall formulate its own compliance process and forms according to its own business model and organizational division of labor .

Mechanism

Trina Solar has built a comprehensive compliance management system from governance to execution, improvement and reporting by following the international standard ISO 37301 and implementing the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) management concept. The system aims to improve the company's compliance management level, ensure legal and compliant operations, and meet internal and external compliance requirements for global operations. The company supports the company's global strategic goals by taking the prevention, discovery and response to compliance risks as the basic process , thereby ensuring the company 's sustainable and high-quality development.
