Trina Solar, the world’s leading smart PV and energy storage solutions provider, and five other leading manufacturers, Astronergy, Canadian Solar, Risen Energy, TCL Zhonghuan and Tongwei, set up the 700W+ Photovoltaic Open Innovation Ecological Alliance on December 15, after they launched a joint initiative on standardizing and applying the design of 700W+ PV modules on December 11, signifying the milestone of whole industry entering PV 700W+ era.</p>

More than 100GW of Trina Solar’s 210mm modules had been shipped by the end of November, leading the industry in terms of shipments, power output and module dimensions standardization. The 210mm module came onto the market in 2020.</p>

At the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) now in session in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, Trina Solar has called for technological innovation and collaboration with global partners to support the worldwide transition to clean energy. The company has also stressed the importance of green, low-carbon and sustainable development.</p>

A high-altitude solar and storage plant with modules provided by Trina Solar was connected to the grid in November. The project, in two phases, has total installed capacity of 200MW. It is forecast to generate 340million kWh, slash coal that is mined by 102,300 tonnes and CO<sub>2 </sub>emissions by 280,800 tonnes a year.</p>

UL Solutions, a global safety science leader, published a bankability study report on Trina Solar’s complete Vertex <em>n-</em>type portfolio. The report’s findings showed that the series modules prove to have outstanding product reliability and lower LCOE for highly recognized bankability.</p>
The photovoltaics production plant of Trina Solar in Suqian, Jiangsu province, eastern China, has been placed on the list of national green factories issued by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. This listing represents another milestone in the company’s commitment to sustainable development.

Trina Solar has won a place on the 2023 Forbes China Top 50 Innovative Companies list, Forbes China says. The list, announced on November 9, features the most innovative and burgeoning Chinese companies and pays special attention to corporate R&D investment this year.</p>

Trina Solar has supplied a children’s and community center in the Australian city of Melbourne with its Vertex S+ modules, making yet another significant contribution to sustainable development with clean energy. Total installed capacity of the project is 35.1kW, using Trina Solar’s Vertex S+ modules. Once connected to the grid, it will generate 40,065.91kWh and cut CO<sub>2</sub> emissions by 33.58 tonnes a year.</p>
